Oil production at Kashagan is still planned to be started at the end of 2016

Oil production at the Kashagan field in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian shelf is still scheduled to begin at the end of 2016, the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Uzakbai Karabalin reported.

"The terns are: the end of 2016, we don’t see any changes in the plans for a while," - said Karabalin at the press conference at the Central Communications Service on Wednesday.
