Shareholders of Yamal LNG invest another $2 bln into the project by the end of 2014 – Mikhelson

The shareholders of Yamal LNG invest more than $2 bln by the end of 2014, the company’s head, L. Mikhelson said today at the meeting with the Prime Minister, D. Medvedev.

Our project is the main one by the investment volume, Novatek’s head said. Now we attract external financing. In Q1 and Q2 we did it with our Russian banks. We are confident we will be able to attract the necessary volume of financing, Mr. Mikhelson said adding that at the present time the volume of financing is rising.

According to him, by today more than 200 bln roubles have been financed and by the end of this year another 80 bln roubles will be invested.
