Rosneft has been granted the license for the Srednebiryuksky site in Yakutia. The license is valid until July 1st, 2039. In accordance with the license terms, Rosneft should provide for the execution of the whole range of the work in accordance with the exploration program, within 5 years from the date of discovery if it happens.
On June 24th, Rosneft won the auction for 2 hydrocarbon sites in Yakutia, Nizhnejerbinsky and Srednebiryuksky. The competitors for Srednebiryuksky were Lensk-Gas Gas Production Company and Surgutneftegaz.
