Novatek not to correct its production plans despite of being included in sanctions list

Novatek doesn’t plan to correct its production plans though it has been included in the sanctions list of a number of countries, the company’s head, L. Mikhlelson, said today at the meeting with the Prime Minster, D. Medvedev.

Everything is being done according to the schedule and we won’t stop moving forward due to being included to the sanctions list, it won’t make us correct our plans, he said.

On July 16th the US Ministry of Finance introduced the sectoral sanctions against Russia having banned the mid-term and long-term loan issues for Novatek, Rosneft, VEB and Gazprombank.
