Gazprom Neft has agreed the program for the exploration of shale oil reserves at Bazheno-Abalak complex of the Palyanovky site of the Krasnoleninsky deposit , developed by Gazpromneft Khantos.
The new phase of the project proposes drilling within the coming year of 4 bent holes with depth of 2,700-2,800 m. Before the end of 2013, the company will start drilling, and will complete that in summer 2014.
The company completed testing of the first production and evaluation well at the site in spring 2013. The well produced an oil inflow with the daily debit of 80 cubic m. The results gave the opportunity to make a concept model of the deposit.
