Millers discusses Nord Stream-II with Vice-Chancellor of Germany

The Nord Stream-II project was discussed by chairman of the Gazprom’s Board Alexei Miller and Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Economy and Energy of Germany Sigmar Gabriel the day before, on July 7. It is reported by Gazprom.

During the meeting they discussed issues of ensuring reliable supplies of Russian gas to Europe, and the implementation of the Nord Stream-II project. According to the report, “the successful experience of the construction, high operational efficiency and environmental safety of the Nord Stream-I pipeline were marked. The importance of the creation of new direct routes for the Russian gas supplies to Europe against the background of falling domestic production in the European countries was emphasized".
