Kirov non-ferrous metal working plant increases output of non-ferrous rolled metal by 6.1%

In January-May 2014, the Kirov non-ferrous metal plant (a part of UGMK) increased the production of rolled non-ferrous metals. The growth is 6.1% as compared with the same period of the previous year, the company’s press centre reports.

"56.5% of the total production fell on rolled brass, 40.3% on copper, 0.4% and 2.8% on bronze and copper-nickel respectively. The major share in the structure of rolled metal took copper strips and sheets (22.8%), LS rods (19.8%), brass and copper radiator tapes (19%), production of electrical purposes (tires, wire, electrical tape and profiles – 10. 0%). Brass strips and sheets made up 15.6%. Other types of rolled metal took 12.8%, "- the press release said.
