Bashneft asks Central Bank to be allowed to offer 45 mln shares on LSE

Bashneft has applied to the Central Bank of Russia to be allowed to offer up to 45 mln shares on the LSE.

On July 4th 2014 the Board of Bashneft decided to increase the registered capital by 37 mln shares of 1 rouble nominal value and offer these shares by public subscription. The Board of Directors approved the depository agreement with Citi bank.

It was also decided to agree a general meeting of shareholders in the form of absentee voting for August 14th 2014. July 14th 2014 is the last day of the make up of the list of people who have the right to participate in the meeting.
