In H1, Russia increased LNG exports by 1.6 times

In H1, Russia increased LNG exports by 1.6 times to 5 million tons, versus 3.6 million tons within the corresponding period of the previous year. The only Russia project engaged with LNG exports is Sakhalin 2.

The Sakhalin customs office has summed up the results of the external economy activity of the Sakhalin region in H1 2013. LNG exports took the largest share in exports structure both by volume and cost, 5 million tons for $2.2 billion, versus correspondently 3.6 million tons for $1.6 billion in 2012.
