Kharasaway deposit in the Kara Sea to be put into operation in 2018-2019

​“Gazprom dobycha Nadym” plans to reach the maximum capacity of extraction at the Bovanenkovo deposit in 2017 and then to start working at other gas deposits in Yamal, CEO S. Menshikov said.

After the Bovanenkovo deposit the next stage of the company will be the launch of the Kharasaway gas condensate deposit on the shore of the Kara Sea. The forecast extraction volume is 30 bln cubic m a year. It is planned to put the Kharasaway deposit into operation in 2018-2019. The development of the main technical decisions is over. 30% of the deposit is in the water area of the Kara Sea, S. Menshikov said.

In mid October 2015 the daily average gas extraction at the deposits of “Gazprom dobycha Nadym” made up the record 328.6 mln cubic m of gas, the stake of the Bovanenkovo deposit was about 2/3 – 218.2 mln cubic m.

The extraction capacities at the Kruzenshern deposit are planned to be put into operation in 2025-2029.
