Rosatom submits its proposals on construction of the first nuclear power plant to Egypt

Russian nuclear state-owned corporation Rosato has submitted its proposals for the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Daba to Egypt, the report of the administration of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, released today, on June 9, informs.

"The proposal talks about construction of four nuclear power units," - the administration of the Egyptian President specified. In May, the Egyptian side considered applications for the construction of the nuclear power plant from Russia, France, China and South Korea. Then Egyptian officials reported that the Russian offer had greater advantages.
