Ukrainian state mines continue suffering from immense losses

The losses of coal producers managed by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine were 3.6833 million grivnas in Q1 2013. The Ministry reports that within the period the state mine made coal products for 2 billion grivnas, by 17.1% less than within the corresponding period of the previous year.

In January – March, average price of trade coal products was 503.3 grivnas per ton, by 23% less than last year. Actual production prime cost of trade coal products increased by 9.2% to 1,430.1 grivnas.
