SOCAR to sign a contract on the construction of a new drilling rig

Next week there will be signed a contract with the winner of the tender on a construction of a new drilling unit to meet the demand of the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan. The head of SOCAR R.Abdullaev said about it.
According to him a Singapore company Keppel FELS Limited has been chosen to be a construction contractor of a new drilling unit. In the coming months they also map out to sign an agreement on the construction of the second floating drilling unit.
