Metalloinvest to build the largest hot-briquetted iron department

Metalloinvest signed a contract with the consortium of Austrian Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH and American Midrex Technologies, Inc. about construction of the third hot-briquetted iron department at Lebedinsky mining and concentrating complex (LGOK) in Gubkin (the Belgorod Region). The capacity of the new department will make up 1.8 million tons per year. This hot-briquetted iron plant will become the largest in the world.
