235.9 thousand tons of copper and copper-zinc merchantable ore was produced at the mines of OJSC “Svyatogor” in Jan-February 2013

In January-February 2013, OJSC “Svyatogor” increased ore production volume at the Shemurskoye deposit of the Severny copper-zinc mine up to 140.2 thousand tons. It is by 8.2% more than in January-February last year.

Capital mining operations at the Novo-Shemurskoye deposit are up to 1.015 million cubic meters. It is by 3.5 times more than the same period last year.  The enterprise keeps up operations at the Volkovskoye deposit. The mined rock volume at the Severo-Zapadnoye site of the deposit is up by 27.2% against January-February 2012. There has been produced 129 thousand tons of commercial ore.
