International Energy Agency reduced forecast of oil demand to 95.6 million barrels per day

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has worsened its forecast for global oil demand in 2016 by 0.1 million barrels per day to 95.6 million barrels per day. This follows from the monthly report of the agency.

The IEA says that in January the global oil supply decreased by 0.2 million barrels per day to 96.5 million barrels per day, as the production growth in OPEC countries only partly offset the decrease in the production in countries that are not members of the organization.
