General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine has brought into question the purchase-and-sale contracts of 11 bln cubic m of gas between Naftogas and Gazprom

The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Ukraine made a claim to the Economic Court of Kiev on proving void the purchase-and-sale agreement of 11 bln cubic m of gas as of Jan 20th 2009 between Naftogas Ukrainy and Gazprom, is said in the State registry of Court decisions.

On June 8th 2010 the International Arbitration tribunal in Stockholm made Naftogas return 11 bln cubic m of gas to RosUkrEnergo (Switzerland) which had been a monopoly supplier of gas to the Ukraine until 2009. 50% of RosUkrEnergo belong to Gazprom and 50% to Centragas Holding AG (in the structure of Group DF of D. Firtash). In July 2014 Gazprom and Centragas Holding AG decided to liquidate RosUkrEnergo.
