Gold fields have been discovered in Kostroma region

Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has announced an auction for the right to carry out geological exploration and gold production in Kostroma region, the administration of the region states.

Two sites in the Vokhomsky district have been placed on auction. The specialists say there are enough resources of precious metal at these deposits to carry out commercial production.
