Rosneft extracted the 110-millionth ton of oil at Vankor

Vankorneft, an affiliate of Rosneft, extracted the 110-millionth ton of oil at the Vankor oil and gas condensate deposit from the start of its operation in 2009.

Vankorneft in 2013 was determined as the operator of the development of the new deposits of the Vankor cluster – Suzunsky, Tagulsky and Lodochny.

416 wells provide the extraction of over 60 thousand tons of oil and condensate a day at the Vankor deposit. The initial recoverable reserves as of the beginning of 2015 made up 476 mln tons of oil and oil condensate, 173 bln cubic m of gas.

The infrastructure constructed with the application of new technologies in the conditions of deep-frozen soil and far location of the deposit provide the extraction at the deposit. Oil pumping is effected by the 556- km long Vankor-Purpe pipeline, later – by the ESPO.

From December 2014 the project on the application of well drilling technology with the multi-hole completion has been realized.
