Wintershall expects closing the asset swap deal with "Gazprom" in autumn 2014, the official representative of Wintershall reported. "Working groups on both sides are intensively involved in closing this complex transaction. The restructuring and preparation of the assets go according to the plan. However, the complex legal process of separation (including the creation of new companies in Russia, the Netherlands and Germany) requires additional time. Therefore, the closure of the operation is scheduled for autumn 2014, and in an economic sense it will acquire effect retroactively, from April 1, 2013", - the company informed.
