Surgutneftegas increases oil production in Yakutia by 6%

In January-September 2014 OJSC “Surgutneftegas” produced 45.917 million tons of oil. It made up 45.942 million tons in January-September last year.
The company states that increased oil production by 6% up to 5.702 million tons in the republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Gas production is down to 6.943 billion cubic meters from 9.053 billon cubic metres.
Surgutneftegas increased oil production by 0.8% to 61.453 million tons. According to an independent assessment, carried out under IAS, the recoverable oil and gas resources of the company make up about 2.5 billion tons of oil equivalent. The shareholders of the company are not disclosed.
