LUKOIL brings Imilorskoye deposit into pilot production
The largest Russian oil company LUKOIL has started the pilot development of the Imilorskoye and Zapadno-Imilorskoye deposits on the territory of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous area-Yugra. Vice-premier A.Dvorkovich and president of the oil company V.Alekperov took part in the ceremonial launch.
The Imilorskoye subsurface site of federal significance include Imilorskoye, Zapadno-Imilorskoye and Istochnoye deposits. LUKOIL got the license for the site in 2013. It won tender with one-time payment at 50.8 billion roubles. The period of pilot development will take place until 2019 and then commercial development will start.
For the implementation of the project in an affiliate “LUKOIL-Western Siberia” there has been created a project office “Early oil” with the budget of more than 10 billion roubles, including the groups on geological exploration, production, construction and the one on scientific assistance.
