Bashneft launches the largest hydrogen manufacturing unit in Russia

Today, Bashneft has launched a new installation for hydrogen production, made by its subsidiary Bashneft-Novoil. The Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, Dmitry Sharon and the president of Bashneft, Alexander Korsik took part in the ceremony, dedicated to completion of the major investment project.

"It is important that Bashneft has been and remains one of the largest investors in the economy of Bashkortostan, investing significant amounts into the modernization of production facilities, - said the Dmitry Sharon. – the launch of the new installation that uses advanced technologies to produce hydrogen demonstrates the company's commitment to strategy of innovative development and environmental responsibility".
