Ukrkoks is against prolongation of quoting of coking coal imports

The Chairman of the Association for Coke Chemical Enterprises, Ukrkoks, A. Starovoit claims that the businessmen are against the attempts to prolong the quotas of coking coal imports for 2014. The introduction of the measure this year has demonstrated its non-reasonability. The metal enterprises got the opportunity to import coal as much as necessary. ‘Everybody are satisfied with the quotas. The miners have no claims as the Ukrainian coking coal is taken. However the next year they’ll initiate the cancelling of the quotas for coal imports because the limit is unreasonable. All producers who were eager to get the quotas got them but the paperwork increased’, Mr. Starovoit says.
