Shymkent oil refinery is stopped for planned repairs

Shymkent oil refinery is stopped for planned repairs that will last for 30 years, since October 8 until November 8 2013. The schedule has been coordinated with the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan. Such repairs are held once a year. The previous repairs was held since October 10 until November 5. Shymkent oil refinery is a member of PetroKazakhstan Oil Products. It’s one of 3 largest oil refineries of the state with annual capacity of up to 6 million tons a year.
