The chief of KMG Mynbayev: raw oil demand will be 100-120 million barrels a day by 2035

The chief of KMG S. Mynbayev thinks that global raw oil demand will be 100-120 million barrels a day by 2035, compared to 87 million barrels a day in 2011, under the forecast of the international energy agency. In his own opinion, demand can reach 100-120 million barrels a day much earlier. He states that such forecasts presuppose constant growth in yield of Eurasian producers. However, with the current development of the technologies of the sector, only a limited number of the states will be able to actively develop oil and gas production.
