The Azerbaijan oil pumping via BTC decreases by 3% in January-August.

In January-July 2014 the Azerbaijan oil pumping volume via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) amounted to 19 million 570.007 thousand tons, which is 3.3% below the same period in 2013, SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) informed the "Interfax-Azerbaijan" agency.

"In August 2014, 2 million 475.365 thousand tons of oil were transported via BTC, and in general from the date the pipeline was commissioned (June 4, 2006 - IF) till September 1, 2014 - 254 million 886.511 thousand tons of oil", - according to SOCAR.

In addition to this, in August 2014, 486.32 thousand tons of Turkmen and Kazakh oil were transported via the BTC pipeline.

In August 2014, the oil terminal of Ceyhan shipped 2 million 214.981 thousand tons of Azerbaijani oil. In January-August 2014 the terminal has shipped 19 million 34.448 thousand tons of oil, generally the terminal has shipped 252 million 178.362 thousand tons of Azerbaijani oil from the date of the BTC pipeline in operation.
