Scientists of Tomsk discover 5 oil fields

Scientists of the Tomsk Polytechnic University have been able to confirm presence of 5 oil fields in the east of the Tomsk region. The total oil-and-gas bearing area of these fields is 1.75 thousand square km. Having 4-meter formation thickness, total geological reserves of oil may be over 600 million tons.
