Rada: Russia set unacceptable conditions of gas supply
The Supreme Rada called the conditions of gas supply set by Gazprom to be unacceptable for the Ukraine.
Pronedra wrote that Gazprom offered the Ukraine to purchase gas beginning from Q3 2016 at $167.57/thousand cubic m.
V. Denisenko, delegate of the P. Proroshenko block, said that this is a really acceptable price which is significantly lower than the reverse gas price from Europe.
However, Moscow set the additional conditions, he said. According to him, Gazprom required Kiev to pay $800 mln for gas shipped to the Donetsk and Lugansk republics. Kiev refuses to pay for these supplies.
Moreover, Gazprom insists that gas will be shipped to the Ukraine only on the conditions of advance payment. Denisenko said that Rada doubts in the execution of obligations by Gazprom and is afraid to make an advance payment. The negotiations on these issues will go on.
