Alexander Popov, who headed Rosnedra more than a year, has been dismissed. The former Head of RUSIA Petroleum Valery Pak was assigned at his post of the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources. Popov was called “a Sechin’s man”, that’s why analysts see strengthening the position of the Minister of Natural Resources, Sergei Donskoy in the personnel replacements.
