Safyan Copper is about to increase income by 27% in 2015

The “Safyan Copper” company (part of UGMK) plans to increase its net profit in 2015 by 27% up to 2.036 billion rubles, while the volume of sales - by 10.6% to 7.274 billion compared to the previous year. It is stated in the materials of the company.

The company maps out to keep ore production by open-pit mining at the level of 2014. Open-pit mining will be decreased from 2016 because of the “decline” of open cast mining. Full completion is planned in 2020. They plan to produce 140 thousand tons of ore by the underground method in 2015 to compensate for the retired capacity and reach 500 thousand tons of annual productivity in 2016, runs the company’s statement.
