After criticism from Chechnya’s President Ramzan Kadyrov, Rosneft reported its intention to spend $2.5 billion for construction of a local refinery with capacity of 1 million tons of oil.
The company pre-term terminated the powers of the acting Board and elected new Board of Directors, its press centre reported. For the first time the Rosneft’s Vice President Zeljko Runje and Deputy Chief of the Security Service Yuri Korskov were elected to the Board, as well as the Chairman of the Chechnya’s Government, Ruslan Edelgeriev.
