On May 7, the daily gas output was 1.7959 billion cubic m in Russia , compared to 1.7708 billion cubic m on May 6, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports. Gas production was 1,280.5 million cubic m in Gazprom, 167.4 million cubic m in Novatek, 239.3 million cubic m in oil companies and 54.3 million cubic m in other companies. The Ministry of Energy reports that in January – March 2013 gas production in Russia declined by 0.9% to 183.5110 billion cubic m.
