KMG will pay debt of $892 million for bonds of its subsidiary

Kazmunai Gas National Company JSC (KMG) has noted to Kazmunai Gas Exploration and Production (KMG E&P) about the intention to pay from own funds the unpaid sum and accrued reward. KMG E&P bought the stocks of KMG NC for $1.5 billion in June 2010 with repayment date on June 24 2013. By December 31 2012 unpaid sum and accrued interest for the bonds of KMG NC was $892 million. The decision of KMG NC is presupposed by successful completion of issuing and placement of Eurobonds of KMG NC at a rate of $3 billion in April 2013.
