Sibuglemet increased coal mining in 2016 hoping for domestic demand growth

​Sibuglemet in 2016 plans to invest up to 1.7 bln roubles into production and increase coal mining by 5.5% to 11.5 mln tons, the CEO of Sibuglemet, A. Davydov, said.

The company plans to save the export at the level of 3 mln tons and sell the additional coal volume in the domestic market.

In 2016 Sibuglemet plans to keep the investment at the level of 2015 – 1.6-1.7 bln roubles.

Sibuglemet has already purchased the continuous heading machine produced at the Kopeisk car manufacturing plant for the Bolshevik mine, and three 220-ton BelAZ machines for the open-pit works, in November a 32-cubic m excavator produced at the Izhora car manufacturing plant will be delivered.

Besides this Sibuglemet will additionally spend 460 mln roubles into industrial safety, which is by 40 mln roubles more than in 2015.

The structure of Sibuglemet comprises the Antonovskay and Bolshevik mines, Mechurechensky open-pit mine, Yuzhnaya coal company, and 2 processing plants Anonovskaya and Mezhurechenskaya with the total processing volume of 12 mln tons.
