Mechel has started to settle its overdue debt by the loan issued by VTB, TASS reports referring to VTB.
The company has started to pay its loan before VTB. However, the entire debt stays unsettled.
VTB says the total debt of Mechel before the creditor reaches 29 mln euro and 61.8 bln roubles.
On April 8th on MICEX Mechel’s general shares rose by 6.8% to 74.58 roubles/ share, privileged shares rose by 11.3% to 54 roubles.
