Urals crude quotation might become the world’s new benchmark (standard) owing to the trade with China. According to the founder of an expert group for global power economy, R.Subkhankulova, it is necessary to update Brent crude quotation or create a new benchmark, as Brent is going to become less representative in the long view amidst the oil production decrease in the North Sea.
