Astana thinks over alternative variants of oil supply from Russia

The Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan considers various variants of oil supply from Russia, provided that the West will introduce sanctions against Russia. The Minister of Oil and Gas U.Karabalin said.

The USA and EU have introduced sanctions against Russia after the annexation of Crimea. In particular, the question is about the freezing of assets and visa ban for some people. The G7 warns Russia of new sanctions against some sectors of economy, if an escalation of the situation, involving the Ukraine, continues.
