Gazpromneft and Shell may get sites in the Chukchi and Pechora Seas

Gazpromneft and Shell may receive offshore sites in the Chukchi and Pechora Seas for development, the Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Sergei Donskoy stated on Sunday.
Gazpromneft and Shell plan to sign a framework agreement on cooperation in development of shelf sites in the Russian Arctic’s water area within the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Netherlands, which will take place on April 8, 2013, the RIA Novosti reports.
