In 2012, hydrocarbon production in the Saratov region grew by 8%

In 2012, Subsoil users of the Saratov region produced 2.493 million tons of oil equivalent that is by 7.7% more than in 2011, the regional Ministry of Industry and Energy reported.
“On the whole, the production of hydrocarbon raw materials increases every year…1.435 million tons of oil and gas condensate were extracted with the increase in the amount of 2.2% against to 2011. 1.058 billion cubic meters of gas were extracted and delivered to consumer – by 16.2% more than in 2011,” – the report says.
