The Ukraine increased gas purchase from Europe by 3%

The Ukraine keeps increasing gas import from Europe.

According to Ukrtransgas, on February 8th 2016 the Ukraine increased gas purchase from Europe by 3%.

Daily gas supply for the needs of the Ukraine from Europe grew to 43.6 mln cubic m (+3%).

This is 30% of the daily gas consumption in the Ukraine or 80% of the daily volume of gas extraction by the domestic companies, the press-secretary of Ukrtransgas, M. Belyavsky, said.

According to Ukrtransgas, yesterday gas collection from the underground storages fell by 20% and makes up 29.5 mln cubic m, gas reserves at the underground storages amount to 10.9 bln cubic m.

Gas pumping to Europe makes up 202.1 mln cubic m a day.
