BP is about to renew oil extraction from Chirag platform

In May 2015 BP also froze for the planned technical works the “Western Azeri” platform.

Bp has completed technical works at the Chirag platform in the Azeri sector of the  Caspian Sea, BP-Azerbaijan said.

The extraction at the platform was shut down on November 10th.

All the planned works have been completed. The preparation for the launch of the Chirag platform is held now.

The average daily oil extraction at ACG made up 640 thousand barrels for this period, at the Chirag platform – 54 thousand barrels.
