Enlargement of the shareholding in Novatek is no priority for Total, the chief of Total P. Pouyanné says to RIA News.

In the beginning of April 2011, Total closed the transaction for entrance to the shareholding capital of Novatek having become the owner of 12.0869% in the company. Total evaluated the transaction by $4 billion. It’s going to gradually enlarge its shareholding to 19.4%. In February 2014, Total owned 17.4% in Novatek.

However Total stopped buying of Novatek shares in July after wreckage of the Malaysian Boeing in the eastern Ukraine.
