Legislation on the liberalization of LNG export has been introduced to the State Duma

The Prime Minister D.Medvedev has presented a bill on liquefied natural gas export liberalization to the State Duma. The document has been made public on the web site of the Russian Government today.

On October 30th, the Cabinet of Ministers passed the bill on LNG liberalization. So, after the passing of the bill Gazprom is only going to be a monopolist in the part of pipeline gas supply abroad, RIA Novosti reports.
