Krivoy Rog’s metallurgic plant tests water route of ore export to Romania

The mining and metallurgic plant ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog (AMKR) has started a pilot project on change of transport logistics for iron ore raw materials export to Romania. On November 5, the enterprise dispatched the first shipment of iron ore concentrate to the Izmail sea commercial port (the Odessa region). The total weight of the first cargo shipment for the transportation to the company ArcelorMittal Galati (Romania) made up 3.6 million tons, the plant reported on Thursday.
