Kazakhstan gives a go-ahead to gasoline from Russia, but dispute with Moscow on oil supply will continue

Kazakhstan will cancel the limitations of Russian gasoline imports, which were put in force from May. The scheme of oil products sale to the state company KazMunaiGas and two traders, set by the Government, were acknowledged as inefficient. Besides, Kazakhstan hopes to lobby its stand on a new oil supply agreement due to the cancallation of the limits.

Kazakhstan cancelled the limitations of the Russian gasoline import, the press centre of the country’s oil and Gas Ministry reported yesterday. As the Ministry specified, “The limitation of the Russian gasoline import by railway, introduced in May, is cancelled” from November, 1st.
