Metinvest produces high-strength rolled products for agricultural sector
Metinvest-SMS has participated in the largest specialized workshop “AgroExpo-2015”. Metinvest made a presentation of new types of rolled products worked out specially for the needs of the domestic car manufacturers as well as complex decision for the agricultural car manufacturing.
About 400 agricultural companies participated in the workshop on October 1-3 in Kirovograd.
Metinvest-SMS organized a conference “Complex decisions of Metinvest for agricultural sector”.
A new high-strength type of rolled products of 30MnB5 mark produced by the European standard EN10083-3 for the production of spare parts exposed to excessive wear were represented there.
The promotion of the 30MnB5 plates started in May along with one of the leading producers of agricultural equipment – “Chervona Zirka” plant and now this product is regularly purchased by 15 companies at least. The total volume of sales o the new high-strength rolled products of Metinvest exceeds 1 thousand tons a month.
