Igor Sechin: it’s not necessary to divide Gazprom and export monopoly won’t be cancelled

The President of Rosneft, Igor Sechin says that it’s not necessary to divide the pipeline and gas production assets of Gazprom for operation of the independent gas producers and export monopoly won’t be cancelled.

Rosneft is going to increase own gas production to 100 billion cubic m that will make the company the largest independent gas producer. Many analysts think that Rosneft’s expansion in gas sphere will definitely lead to conflict with Gazprom that remains the monopoly gas exporter.
