Plants producing pipes and building materials of waste to be built in the Pavlodar Region

 

It is planned to build plants producing concrete, pipes and building materials of Kazakhstan Aluminium JSC and Aksunsky ferroalloy plant's waste in the Pavlodar Region. South Korean businessmen will participate in the building, press service of the regional Akimat (local administration in Kazakhstan) reported.

 

 

As reported by the press service, meeting of the deputy Akim of the region Murat Ospanov with managing director of Samsung IMK Corporation export and import company U Je Hill took place.

 

 

 

“We support the company’s proposal to cooperate with the enterprises of our region in processing of metallurgical waste and organization of aluminium production”, the press service quotes Ospanov.

 

 

 

The concrete plant is expected to process 100 thousand tons of waste monthly and the aluminium enterprise – 10 thousand tons of metal.

 

 

 

The share of South Korea in foreign trade turnover of the Pavlodar Region makes up 1.6%. the turnover between the region and South Korea has increased 1 times and exceeded $12 million  for a year.

 

 

 

Currently Korea exports chemical products (polyethylene, polypropylene), motor vehicles, electrotechnical products and equipment for the production of paper and cardboard goods.

 

 

 

The Pavlodar Region delivers 2.2% of its exported products to Korea, including 7.9% of all exported ferroalloys and aluminium waste.
