Bashneft’s privatization not to be reconsidered – head of Bashkortostan

The issue of Bashneft’s privatization won’t be reconsidered, the head of Bashkortostan, R. Khamitov said on August 6th.

All the privatization processes have been held long ago. Evidently the privatization is not subject to reconsideration in this or that variant. It is difficult to imagine it even in theory, he said.

Anyway the republic can’t pay for the controlling package and purchase it back, and nobody will return it for free, R. Khamitov said.

Bashkiria has worked out another variant of cooperation with the company – the Government wants Bashneft to agree the plans of its development, its production program, discuss its strategy, the construction of new enterprises, the forming of new production capacities.
